In Google Chromecast Support Page Motorola Droid Maxx 2 Briefly Listed

Google has confirmed the existence of the expected Motorola Droid Maxx 2 smartphone for Verizon Wireless. The handset was seen listed in the search giant’s Chromecast “Optimized devices for Android Screen casting” page under the ‘Supported Android devices’ section.

The page has since been edited to remove the reference, and had Besides mentioned that the Droid Maxx 2 smartphone is just a Verizon-branded Moto X Play. We are yet to see the official launch of the smartphone.
