Traffic in south Delhi Due to NH-8 Congestion

Traffic was threw out-of-gear in several parts of the national capital, specifically in south Delhi where commuters had a Deplorable experience during and long after the morning peak hours today.

Delhi Traffic Police, a severe congestion was reported near the toll booth on NH-8 in the morning, and within hours a long tailback was witnessed in the entire exertion up to Dhaula Kuan.

The congestion at Dhaula Kuan further clogged the arterial roads, including the Ring Road stretch connecting west Delhi with south Delhi, Sardar Patel Marg for New Delhi and Vandemataram Marg connecting central Delhi.

The wave impact was soon witnessed in Delhi camp area and the route between APS Colony and Dhaula Kuan was in a chock-a-block state.
Traffic snarl was also reported in south Delhi’s Ashram Chowk and the DND Flyway joint Delhi with Noida.

“Traffic was heavy in and around Rajpath, Janpath crossing, Rafi Marg, Vijay Chowk and almost all stretches near Rashtrapati Bhavan in view of the March for India demonstration.
