Woman Befriends Mother at Station, Reave Her Child
A 4-year-old girl was reave by a woman who befriended her mother at a railway station in Telangana’s Secunderabad.
23-year-old woman, Rani, said she came to Secunderabad by the morning by train on Thursday to meet her cousin in Attapur and on her route back she was befriended by the other woman.
Woman told Rani that she too was travelling to Vijayawada. The two women get to talking and went out to have fruits together.
While came back, Rani walked ahead while the other woman held the child for her. A few minutes later, Rani realised the woman had hidden with her child.
Railway police inspector Anjaneyulu said, security camera footage showed the two women together for more than half an hour.
The footage also showed the woman walking the station with the child and going to the Ratifle bus station near a temple.
They are now behind the suspect who is stated to be in her late twenties.
Rani said she was travelling with her older daughter Durga and had left her younger daughter at her home after an Discussion, with her husband.
A resident of Andhra Pradesh’s Kakinada, she had come to Secunderabad to ask for some money for her cousin, who promised to have it maintain in her bank account.
