Actress Karisma Kapoor, who had decided to part ways legally with husband Sanjay Kapoor by mutual consent, has withdrawn the divorce docket, this time too, mutually. Both of them were recently spotted at the Mumbai family court, filing an application to withdraw the divorce proceedings. Family court judge I J Nanda did the needful.
In the application filed before the family court, Karisma Kapoor stated that she was withdrawing her consent since her husband, Sanjay Kapoor had allegedly failed to observe with the financial commitments mentioned in the consent terms signed by the couple.
Sanjay Kapoor had agreed to meet few financial commitments within a period of six months from the time of signing the consent papers. However, he did not fulfil the same.
Karisma and Sanjay Kapoor have been married since 2003 and The couple has two children, Samaira (10) and Kiaan (5). Though they filed a petition for mutual divorce in 2013, the question of custody of the children remained unsolved. Since they mutually have withdrawn the divorce mutually, they are to remain a couple legally until a fresh divorce case is filed.
