Lucknow: High alert has been issued across Uttar Pradesh under mentioned the death of a 37-year-old due to swine flu, health officials said on Thursday.
The death have been reported from Barabanki, neighbouring the state capital.
The victim was being use at a private medical facility for high grade fever and cold for the past some days and was eferred to the Sanjay Gandhi Post-graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) on Wednesday where he died later at night.
His samples was tested sure for swine flu and his neighbours, relatives and family are now being investigate for any infection, a doctor told IANS.
There is no required to panic, health officials across the state capital are watchful and are keeping an eye on patients showing H1N1 like symptoms” chief medical official (CMO) of Lucknow SNS Yadav said.
This is second death in the state reported due to swine flu this year.
Last week a 60-year-old from Nirala Nagar place died due to swine flu.
