ISIS be heads ‘Russian Spy’, says Putin next

Now Russia is on the target of ISIS as a Russian-speaking IS fighter in a video addresses Moscow directly and warned that its forces will be overthrown and its troops killed.

The terrorist group has released a video indicating to show the execution of an alleged Russian spy in Syria.

Broadcast on social media, the video showed a prisoner wearing the orange tunic and trousers often seen on captives in IS’s footages.

Since Russia began air strikes in support of Syria’s government on September 30, it is the first video from ISIS to show the apparent execution of a Russian.

In the footage, the detainee allegedly confesses to being recruited by Russian intelligence in order to gather information about the terror group.

With the beheading of the detainee, the video ends.

The city of Raqa, in Syria’s northern Raqa province, is a stronghold of the terrorist group.
