Micromax launches Canvas Amaze Q395


The new Micromax Canvas Amaze (Q395) would be running on Android 5.1 Lollipop and on the internal storage grounds, the new Smartphone would be featuring a 32GB internal storage capacity, which can be extended by adding a micro card.

The smartphone comes loaded with inbuilt apps such as Hotstar, Clean Master, Saavn, and Scandid. Since it’s an entry-level smartphone, the Micromax Canvas Amaze is equipped with the cheap and abundantly used MediaTek MT 6580 chipset that houses a 1.3GHz ARM Cortex-A7 CPU and Mali-400 MP GPU.Micromax_Canvas_Amaze_B

The phone expenditure its energy from a 2,000mAh Li-ion battery which claims to render a talk time upto 7 hours on 2G and can also withstand a standby time up to 260 hours on 2G. The camera features a wide range of options such as Auto Flash, Geo tagging, High Dynamic Range mode (HDR) and Touch to focus. This comes next after launching the flagship Canvas 5 smartphone recently.

The Canvas Amaze sports an IPS LCD capacitive 5-inch touchscreen display, with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, covered by scratch and shatter proof Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Like we mentioned above, the Micromax Canvas Amaze retails for Rs 7999 and is up for sale via eBay India. Selfies are taken care of through a 5MP front-facing shooter.

The smartphone which was listed on the company site on 4th November has gone on sale in India today.

A few of the company’s recent launches include the Canvas Mega, and Canvas Blaze 4G+ smartphones. The Canvas Mega has been priced for Rs. 8,099, whereas the Blaze 4G+ has not got a price as yet. However, no pricing and availability details of the device have been revealed.

According to Micromax listing of the device, the handset supported Cat. 4 LTE with download speeds of up to 150Mbps. The brand is also set to launch more 4G-enabled smartphones under Rs 10,000.
