Sheena Bora was strangulated to death confirms :AIIMS report

Sheena Bora murder case, daughter of former media executive Indrani Mukerjea, had died of strangulation, confirmed the he All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Wednesday.

“The cause of death has been confirmed as strangulation by the board,” a hospital source told Hindustan Times on the condition of anonymity.

Sheena’s remains were found by the police in Raigad district, 112km from Mumbai, following which a case of murder was registered against unknown persons in 2012. Her identity was eventually established.

Reports say Indrani allegedly burnt Sheena’s body with petrol & disposed it off in Raigadh with help of two other accomplices.

“In cases like these, where forensic experts get skeletal remains for examination, the history of the case becomes crucial to reach a conclusion. In this case, the team arrived at the findings that Bora was strangulated after minutely examining all aspects and pieces of evidence,” reports the English daily quoting the source.
