The Samsung Galaxy J series helped prop Samsung up this year, more so than the four high-end models that the company has been promoting heavily.

According to a tweet has revealed that Samsung is coming up with a new model in the Samsung J series. it appears that Sammy is going to bump the specs of the entry-level Samsung Galaxy J1 for the Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016). For example, @S_leak says that the display will increase in size from 4.3-inches on this year’s model, to 4.5-inches next year. The resolution, at 480 x 800, will remain the same. it appears that Sammy is going to bump the specs of the entry-level Samsung Galaxy J1 for the Samsung Galaxy J1 (2016). A tweet from @S_leak states that the Galaxy J (2016) will be powered by the unannounced Exynos 3457 chipset. The latter contains a quad-core CPU and the Mali-T720 GPU. 1GB of RAM is inside and Android 5.1.1 is pre-installed. The OG Galaxy J1 is driven by a dual-core 1.2GHz CPU with the Mali-T400 GPU. 512MB of RAM is aboard.

The original Galaxy J1 was launched last February, so it wouldn’t be too far out of the question to expect a sequel to be unveiled soon. Perhaps will soon see the Galaxy J1 (2016) certified by the FCC, or TENAA.
