Akshay Kumar’s ‘Airlift’ teaser

The trailer of Akshay Kumar’s new film Airlift has been released and is a awful reminder of the 1990 clearing of over a lakh Indians from a Kuwait under attack.

 

 

Iraq invaded Kuwait.  diaspora Indians living in both countries were evacuated between August 13 and October 11 on board Indian Airlines flights, the government having tried and abandoned the use of military aircraft because of problems in getting airspace expulsion.
