Hyderabad’s 3 students want join ISIS, arrested in Nagpur

Nagpur : 3 students “(keen jihadists) from Hyderabad were arrested at Nagpur’s Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport while they were on their way to join the banned terror organisation – ISIS.

The men were held in a joint operation conducted by the Telangana Police and Maharashtra Anti-Terrorist Superintendent of police Squad (ATS). The arrested men were said to be headed for Afghanistan.

They were were supposed to board an Indigo flight to Srinagar from Nagpur airport after arriving from Hyderabad a day before by road.

The 3 men have been identified as Abdul Wasim, Umar Hasan Farooqui and Majh Hasan Farooque, and they would be produced before Hyderabad court later on Saturday. The police is possibility to seek their remand for custodial questioning to find out the links.
